February 19th – Para Practice
F4Bradley was put through his para paces today. A top training session with BD Eastern Region and a run through of the new Paralympic Team test.

February 17th – WCP Home Visit

f3A busy morning at the yard. A vist from Equestrian Team GBR combined with a farrier and veterinary assessment for Princess Fiona. Thanks to my fab home team, Phil the farrier, Annabelle Galt – Equine Sports Therapy and Mark at Towcester Equine Vets for keeping Princess in prime prancing condition

February 9th – Addington

Far too cold for the pilots liking, thankfully Princess Fiona is much more hardcore than her weather wimp of a rider. A win with 75.86% and some very fancy footwork demonstrated.

February 5th – Squad Training
f1Princess Fiona and I had a terrific couple of days at squad training. Lots of posh trotting practice accompanied by human & equine sports science sessions. Chuffed to bits with the improvement shown in our test riding; scored a 9 from a top international judge for a cracking 8m circle (it’s only taken me 4yrs to do one correctly!). Extremely appreciative for all of the expert advice and coaching provided by the World Class Programme throughout the weekend, and to Sport England and The National Lottery for funding such fabulous training. Thanks also to my dedicated groom, home team and super sponsors for going the extra mile to keep me in the saddle.
