Amanda Shirtcliffe

Para dressage rider and para carriage driver. A new website is on its way.

Two disciplines, one flag

Diagnosed with the neurological condition dystonia in 2012, Amanda was riding for Great Britain within three years.

Today she competes at Grade I in both para dressage and para carriage driving. In 2025 she drove for Great Britain at the FEI Para Driving World Championships in Germany, and in 2026 she returned to international para dressage with her new horse, Kirkstall Spirit.

She is also patron of Ride High, the Milton Keynes charity that uses horses to change young lives.
